Before you claim a premade
Premade covers are sold one time only and customized with your title and author name after purchase. If you have questions about availability, formatting add-ons, or whether a cover is a good fit for your book, feel free to reach out before claiming it.
What is a premade cover?
A premade cover is a ready-made book cover design available for one-time purchase. Once claimed, the cover is customized with your book title and author name, then permanently removed from sale.
Are premade covers exclusive?
Yes. Every premade cover is sold to one author only. Once purchased, it is retired and will not be resold.
What’s included with a premade cover purchase?
Each premade purchase includes:
- Title and author name customization
- A finished ebook cover file
- One-time exclusive use of the design
If you need paperback formatting, hardback formatting, or additional promotional graphics, those can be added for an extra fee.
How do I claim a premade cover?
Click the Claim This Cover button on the premade listing or use the contact form to send an inquiry. Please include the cover code so I can confirm availability as quickly as possible.
How do I know if a premade is still available?
Premades are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re interested in a cover, I recommend claiming it as soon as possible. Once payment is received, the cover is marked sold and removed from the shop.
Can the title and author name be changed?
Yes. Your book title, subtitle, and author name will be added to the design as part of your premade purchase.
Can other changes be made to the cover?
Minor text updates are included, but major design changes are not included in the base premade price. If you’d like to discuss additional edits, feel free to ask before purchasing and I’ll let you know what’s possible.
Does the premade price include a paperback or hardback cover?
No. Premade prices include the ebook cover only unless otherwise noted. Paperback and hardback formatting can be added separately if needed.
What information do you need from me after purchase?
Once your premade is claimed, please send:
- Your premade cover code
- Book title
- Subtitle, if applicable
- Author name
- Any series information that should appear on the cover
If you’re adding paperback formatting, I’ll also need your final trim size and page count once those details are ready.
How long does premade customization take?
Premade covers are typically much faster than custom covers. Turnaround time depends on my current schedule, but most premade text updates are completed within a few business days once I have the details I need.
Do you offer refunds on premade covers?
Because premade covers are removed from sale once purchased and reserved exclusively for one author, refunds are generally not offered once work has begun. Please be sure you love the cover before claiming it.
Can I use a premade cover for any genre?
You’re welcome to choose the cover that feels right for your story, but some designs are created with specific genres in mind. If you’re unsure whether a premade is the right fit, I’m always happy to answer questions before purchase.
Can I reserve a premade without paying right away?
Premades are not officially reserved until payment arrangements have been made. If you’re serious about a cover, reach out as soon as possible so I can confirm whether it’s still available.
What if I need a paperback wrap, hardback cover, or promo graphics later?
No problem. Matching add-ons such as paperback formatting, hardback formatting, and promotional graphics can be added after purchase for an additional fee.
